Kimble Coastal Care Navigation & Consultation

There's a particular kind of moment that happens in care management. When a family finally exhales. When someone who has been managing a parent's medications, fielding calls from specialists, and trying to hold it all together finally has someone in their corner who knows exactly what to do next.

I know that moment from both sides.

Before I knew what care management was, I was living it. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer at 49. I was her person, coordinating her care, fielding the calls, managing the details, while also carrying the grief of watching her fight for her life and desperately wanting to just be her daughter. The weight of those two roles, advocate and child, is something I carry with me into every family I work with. I know what it costs to hold both at once.

During that same season, I became a hospice nurse. Part of it was practical. Part of it was deeply personal. I needed to face my own fear of death, and the approaching death of my mother, head-on. What I found in that work was something I didn't expect: clarity, connection, and a profound sense of purpose. Standing with people at the end of their lives and with the families who love them taught me things about care that no textbook ever could.

Those experiences are the foundation of everything I do. I am a registered nurse, Certified Care Manager, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and an Advanced Aging Life Care Professional through the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA) with more than a decade of clinical experience across high-acuity care management, complex chronic disease, and end-of-life care. I work alongside families navigating the hardest chapters: serious illness, cognitive decline, transitions from hospital to home, and the slow and often invisible work of keeping someone safe and cared for over time. My role is to be the person who knows what questions to ask, who to call, and what comes next, so that you can focus on being present with the person you love.

Care navigation is not just what I do. It is where I come from.

Home

Rooted on the Jersey Cape

Outside of work, I am a Coast Guard spouse and a mother to three young children. Our family has built our life here on the Jersey Cape, rooted in a community that takes care of its own. I understand what it means to hold a family together through uncertainty, to keep everything moving when the weight of it feels like a lot, and to show up fully even on the hard days. That is not separate from the work I do. It is woven into it.

For Healthcare Organizations

I have actually built it.

For healthcare organizations, I bring something most consultants cannot offer. Before founding Kimble Coastal, I served as the COO-level director at a large, premier concierge care management company based in New York City, while simultaneously co-founding and operationalizing a nurse staffing registry from inception. In those roles I built and scaled organizations from the inside of some of the most demanding care environments in the country. I led hiring and team development, designed HR infrastructure from the ground up, and authored the handbooks, policies, and compliance frameworks that gave those organizations their footing. I built clinical workflows, client tracking systems, and the internal structures that allowed care teams to do their best work without falling through the cracks.

What I bring to consulting clients is not theory. It is the lived experience of sitting in the operational seat and solving the problems that keep small healthcare businesses from growing. The clinical lens I carry as a nurse does not leave the room when I shift into consulting work. It sharpens it. I understand the pressure of keeping people safe while also keeping the lights on, and I know how to build the systems that make both possible.

If you are a home care agency, a therapy practice, a behavioral health group, a concierge medicine practice, or any clinician-led organization that has outgrown its current structure, I know where the gaps are. And I know how to close them.

I am based in Cape May County, where our family has planted roots on this stretch of coastline. That groundedness is part of who I am and how I work. Steady, present, and committed for the long haul.

Whether you are a family trying to figure out what comes next, or a healthcare organization ready to build something lasting, I would be glad to talk.
